Due to updates in our server security and requirements from our insurance provider, if you have a personal cell phone that is connected to the A&A exchange server for email, you will be required to have a PIN or other approved security feature on the phone (i.e., thumbprint, face recognition, etc.). A phone that you can simply swipe to access the device will have to have the settings changed with a security feature to access it. The swipe method leaves your phone unprotected and does not meet current security standards. Although your cell phone is your private property, to help secure our company’s and our customer’s confidential information this change is required. Using a PIN also protects your personal information and prevents fraudulent use in case the phone is lost or stolen. If you aren’t sure if your current phone settings meet our security compliance requirements, please verify with Russ Troxel.
